Every so often, you’re going to have a bad day

Everyone does.

A day where you’re feeling exceptionally tired,

a day where your mind doesn’t feel like it’s totally there,

a day where you it feels like you’re having to face more problems than usual,

a day where you’re struggling.

A helpful thing you can do on days like these is to recognize and accept that you are having a bad day.

You’re human, this is a part of life. There are peaks and valleys — some days, no matter what you do, you’re going to be in the valley.

While accepting that you’re having a bad day doesn’t magically make the day better, it does give you space to embrace the possibilities that tomorrow and every other day of life has to offer.

Recognizing continuity in this way — that life goes on — can provide solace on even the worst of days.
