Buoyant spirit
I’ve always admired people that seem to have a way of lifting up the spirits of the people around them — I call these people buoyant spirits.
They are the embodiment of the advice Will Guidara writes in his book Unreasonable Hospitality, “Let your energy impact the people you’re talking to, as opposed to the other way around.”
Some people shrug and eye-roll at the idea of keeping a positive attitude; others — the type of people I am referring to — take this idea very seriously because they understand the profound benefits that a positive attitude confers to them and the people around them.
Tenacity is fuel for solving complex problems.
The choice to show up with a strong, positive outlook is fuel for tenacity.
