Conditions for starting
The conditions we require to start are often idealistic.
In a Perfect World, many of us would like at least three things to be true before we start:
- enough time in the day
- seemingly enough resources to start
- and ample energy to give
Unless you’re among a truly lucky minority, the number of days in which these conditions are true is extremely rare.
So, yes, you can wait for such a day to come but the wait will likely be long.
Alternatively, you can choose to challenge what you think you need.
Maybe you feel a little stretched for time, maybe resources feel limited, maybe you’re tired — but can any of these things actually stop you from starting something important if you really wanted to?
Here’s a thought: maybe the only condition you truly need to start anything is a willingness to start.
Even if circumstances allow you to only make a fraction of a percent of progress every day — that has massive cumulative effects over time.
And it certainly beats just sitting idly for weeks, months — years even —waiting for the perfect time to start that may never come.
You can make now the right time to start.
