Courage

Imagine the opportunity cost if everyone waited until they were 100% ready before…

Having a difficult conversation.

Taking on a new role or project.

Moving across the country or globe.

We’d have far fewer meaningful conversations, take on far fewer impactful projects, and would seldom be inclined to see what the rest of the world has to offer.

To lead with courage is to run towards something exciting and frightening and trust that you will land on the other side of the experience.

In exchange, you gain access to the opportunity of a lifetime to learn about the world, about what you are capable of, about how deep relationships can go, and about what life ultimately has to offer.

Do not wait for guarantees because you will never have them.

Do not wait until you are 100% ready because you rarely will be.

Take inventory of the leaps you’ve been waiting to take — chances are they’re overdue because you’ve been waiting for these two things.
