Eureka moments

We’re all bound to experience a eureka moment if we work on something long enough.

It’s the moment where everything, or at least many things, finally feel like they’re starting to click and progress feels more possible than ever.

For example, every time I start a new job it feels a bit like starting over. I don’t really know what I’m doing for the first several months but, after working in earnest, eventually one day things feel like they click.

We often don’t see eureka moments coming.

One day you might feel hopeless, only to have your eureka moment waiting for you the next day.

It is therefore important to have faith in the process — to choose to keep going even when the outlook feels unclear. You could be on the cusp and not realize it.

The brain has a funny way of gradually piecing things together in the background.

You just need to give it time. Keep going.
