Learning by doing

I started posting videos about ideas that I think are helpful maybe one or two weeks ago.

I don’t know the first thing about creating engaging video content.

How should the title be structured? What text size do I use? What kind of captions are most engaging? How long should the video be? What focal length is good? How much does any of what I just mentioned even matter?

There is some science to this, but there isn’t exactly a mountain of literature on Google Scholar to tell you exactly what to do.

The only way to learn is by doing.

Each submission is an experiment with observations and lessons.

Some videos do well, others flop (like the one today).

Each iteration offers wisdom that isn’t really attainable through just sitting, strategizing, and thinking.
