Maybe that’s the way

“Maybe that’s the way we do it, I don’t know.”

Somebody made this remark about an ambitious project earlier this week and I love it because it speaks to the essence of what it means to figure something out.

You can hypothesize all day about how you should accomplish something, but you won’t know anything for sure until you try.

To make rapid progress, you have to be willing to trade any need for certainty for a willingness to test things that you’re uncertain about — even scared of at times — over, and over, and over again.
