Not enough time

We’ve all experienced what it is like to not have enough time.

You start the day with a seemingly endless list of things to do, you do as many of them as you can on top of all the unexpected things that life happens to throw at you, and — before you know it — it’s time for bed.

You could be the most efficient person in the world and it would still be true that there isn’t enough time to do everything.

Yet, there’s also this phenomenon where we are capable of getting something done if it’s important enough to us.

We do this not by any miracle — not by finding a 25th hour in the day — but by making a conscious decision to not do something else.

The issue of whether there is time or not is a litmus test for how important something really is to you.

If it’s important enough, you will drop what you have to to do it.

If you don’t want to drop anything, then maybe it’s not as important to you as you think.
