Nothing to conquer

May 1, 2025

Trying to conquer the unconquerable is a recipe for great distress.

There’s no such thing as perfectly managing your relationships or always getting the result you want because of your best efforts.

In the same way no one is deciding when it rains or shines, you don’t get to decide if things will work out as planned. You just focus on doing what you can do.

Accepting this is about relieving yourself of an impossibly heavy burden.

It’s not all on you for things to work out; it’s not all on you when they don’t.
