Rest protocol

For athletes rest is serious business.

Dr. Karin VanBaak at the University of Colorado Sports Medicine & Performance Center explains, “In order to see gains in fitness, in order for the body to keep doing what you want it to do, you have to give it enough rest to repair itself...[this] means taking time out of your usual sport”

You might easily see how this applies to any area of life that you expect to perform well in: your work, studies, sports, etc.

Sustained intensity and growth is made possible with a consistent investment in rest and recovery.

It’s no different than making a pit stop at your local gas or charging station when your fuel gauge is low or resting between sets at the gym.

Any serious investment in progress inevitably requires a serious investment in rest.
