It’s almost impossible to hold yourself or someone else accountable for something that wasn’t clearly specified to begin with.

It’s like trying to latch on to air.

I’m taking a break from daily writing and could tell you I’ll be back in a bit or I’ll see you later.

The problem with a bit and later is that they could be any day.

And any day, if you’re not careful, can quickly turn into never.

So, to be specific, I’ll be back in 17 days.
