Striving mindset

A striving mindset is process-driven instead of output-driven.

It prizes the race over the finish line, the incline over the peak, the journey over the destination.

Stanford Neuroscientist, Dr. Andrew Huberman, recently shared on his podcast that framing our pursuit of things as a reward in and of itself leads to the release of more dopamine — the neurochemical responsible for getting us to move and act.

If your motivation is dwindling, it’s possible that a reorientation is in order.

Find something about the pursuit that you can embrace — fall in love with even.

You’ll be much better off.
