Take your ideas seriously
The importance of pursuing an idea with confidence in your ability to make it happen cannot be emphasized enough.
The less confident you are in the idea, the less likely it is to get anywhere.
Trying to make an idea work while thinking to yourself “maybe it won’t” is like trying to push and pull at the same time.
You’ll question more often than not, you’ll hesitate more often than not. And you will be less willing to stick around when things get challenging (because maybe it was destined to fail anyways).
Your confidence makes a huge difference in what you are able to produce because it is what you will often need to lean on for the endurance and grit necessary to bring a challenging idea to life.
If you want a fighting chance to make an idea happen, you would stand to benefit greatly by being rather bullish and unashamed in your belief that you are 100% capable of doing it.
