The winds of tomorrow
There is a Japanese proverb: “The winds of tomorrow will blow tomorrow.”
To worry about how problems out of your control will unfold is very much like worrying about where the wind may blow in the future.
No matter how much energy you spend worrying, the winds will blow as they will.
This is a powerful observation to keep in your back pocket.
Worrying is exhausting.
Whenever you find yourself worried about a problem you cannot control, there is an opportunity to find peace by surrendering to whatever the outcome may be — wherever the wind, ever uncontrollable, may blow.
