This is not a dress rehearsal

Time does not wait — it’s constantly marching forward, slowly but surely advancing you from your youth to adulthood, and eventually old age.

The implications of all the decisions you make or do not make along the way are yours to carry.

Time has zero sympathies for regret, there are no do-overs.

Your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and so on happen exactly once.

There’s also no promise of continuity: the only thing you can be certain of is the time passing in front of you right now.

When it comes to how much time you have left to do the things that matter to you, all bets are off — you just don’t know.

This is not a dress rehearsal — there are no infinite chances and no redos.

This is it.

So maybe worry a little less about what other people think.

Listen to your gut more; be mindful of what’s on your heart.

Say all the things you’re terrified to say but wanna say.

Do all the things you’re terrified to do but wanna do.

Do epic things.

Do meaningful things.

Do them now and without hesitation — like your life depends on it.
